About Kristina Tervo
Kristina Tervo has over 25 years of experience in business and commercial aviation, as a:
- a professional pilot – UKCAA and FAA ATPL, commercial helicopter
- safety consultant and auditor
- business owner
- Synthetic Flight Instructor for civil and military flight crews in Boeing 777, Falcon 7X and Falcon 50/900
- Crew Resource Management / Human Factors trainer.
She has previously developed and delivered flight crew training for Emirates Airline, Air Arabia (MPL), CAE and Flight Safety International in their initial, recurrent and cadet pilot training programmes.
She is the founder and director of KTConsultancy (Mougins, France) and Wolston Sky (Ras Al Khaimah, UAE). Indeed, through these companies currently she provides a variety of services. She delivers flight crew training, meeting clients’ safety management and auditing requirements, and a range of consultancy services. She is a mother of three children.
During Kristina’s career, she has completed diplomatic missions through war zones and Medevac flights in Greenland and Siberia. As a corporate and VVIP pilot, she has safely flown heads of state, royal personages, CEOs and celebrities globally. She has an extensive worldwide background in the aviation industry and business. Her skills in communications, leadership, and working in multi-cultural teams are unmatched and apply to any organisation. Her focus on building strong professional relationships has been a valuable asset throughout her career.
Kristina’s contributions to Women in Aviation
WAI Middle East Chapter
Kristina is co-founder and Vice-President of the first Middle East Chapter of Women in Aviation International based in the UAE. She has held this position for over 10 years.
Building on this experience, she became the founding president of the WAI Riviera chapter. In fact, without her the Riviera chapter would not have come into existence!
