Meet Emma Watson
🎓 Emma Watson attended the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. At first, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences. Subsequently, she pursued a master’s degree in International Business. Her thesis “A Culture of Wealth” was a qualitative analysis of the cultural values of 18 high net worth individuals. To achieve this, she interviewed HNWIs from 9 different countries, across 4 continents.
🚁 🛥️ After this, Emma Watson has evolved within her family business to become the chief operating officer of Luviera International. The group specialises in private flight operations and maritime aviation. They specialise in VIP helicopters and superyacht integration. Initially, she began as a marketing assistant, whereafter she moved on to business development, and now management.
✈️ In 2019, she was assigned the setup of the group’s new subsidiary. It is was out of the Caribbean island of Saint Martin. This is also where she founded the HeliRiviera Flight Academy, a fixed-wing pilot training provider operating a Cessna 172.
🌟 She was recognised at the 2021 Caribavia conference with a Sapphire Pegasus Award for ‘Outstanding Rising Star’.
Role within WAI Riviera
Emma is vice-president and webmaster for WAI Riviera.
🙋♀️ She shares her vice-president with Léa Thiery. In essence, they perform any presidential duties if the president, Kristina Tervo, is unable.
💻 Furthermore, as Webmaster for the chapter she manages its website and IT needs. She also assists in managing the online presence alongside Emilie Colignon, the social media chair.
🎙️ At the first Women in Aviation International Riviera Chapter event in Nice in 2022, Emma was a panellist on the Helicopters, Jets and Superyachts panel, moderated by Erika Haladin.
