Meet Rosa
Rosa Rubio born in Madrid, she is married and has one daughter and one grandson. Her hobbies are reading, writing and dancing.
Unquestionably, Rosa is dedicated to learning. She:
- holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Doctorate in Journalism in Universidad Complutense – Madrid
- wrote her Doctorate Degree (Cum Laude) in Journalism about “Aviation Press and Information in Spain”
- got a Magister in “Technical and Scientific Information in Media” in University Complutense, Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences and ABC Journal
- a Master in “International Marketing” in University of Missouri – St. Louis
- a Master “Internal Communication in Companies” in International Marketing Club
- a Official Master in Management of Contracts and Tenders in the Public Sector with Application to the Field of Defense in UNED and Instituto Universitario General Gutierrez Mellado.
Rosa has worked in leading multinational companies, mainly in various areas of the Aeronautical field such as Communication, Commercial, Sales and Marketing. She was in charge of Marketing and Communication Department in ARTHUR ANDERSEN for 5 years. During last 26 years she worked in Corporate and Special Missions Aviation. She worked for AVIACO (IBERIA Branch), ALG, TAG Aviation and was Sales Representative for Spain for Bombardier and Cessna. At the present time she managed her own companies focused in Communication, Consulting, Aerial Works and Flying School PAISAJES GALLEGOS and she is as well Commercial Director of CLASS AVIATION based in Nouakchott (Mauritania). Additionally, she is focused in UAV’s Unmanned Aeronautical Vehicles, known as DRONES.
As well as this, as a journalist specialized in aviation she worked as Editor of “Airplane” Magazine, Sports Aviation Editor and Reports Magazine “Avión Revue” and CEO of Grupo Ciberavion. Not to mention, she works as freelance Aviation Journalist and she is launching her own PODCAST, VIMANAIR, specialized in Corporate Aviation, DRONES and African Air Business.
Role in WAI Riviera
Rosa is the Outreach Chair for WAI Riviera.
She organises events for the chapter – including in 2023, the first annual European WAI Conference.
